    If something is jaw-dropping, it is so impressive or so surprising that your mouth falls open. A jaw-dropping view, a jaw-dropping price, a jaw-dropping show. It is informal and a little dramatic — not just “wow,” but “I could not keep my face still.” Though actually, it does not have to be a happy surprise; a huge bill can be jaw-dropping too. People also say it made my jaw drop.
