When two things interlink, they join up with each other, or they are joined through something in the middle. You can interlink computer systems, pages on a website, or even ideas in a talk, so that one leads you to the next. People also use it when two things are tied so closely that if one changes, the other is pulled along — two companies’ plans can interlink, not only wires and chains. It is a little more careful than plain “connect,” and you meet it a lot with machines, networks, and writing. Though actually, you will also see it as a noun (an interlink is the join itself); the meaning here is the verb: to connect, or to be connected, with something else.
