Insidiousness is the quality of being insidious — the slow, hidden way a problem can grow and do serious harm. It names the danger-style, not one single event. You will see it more in writing than in speech: 'the insidiousness of the disease' or 'the insidiousness of the habit.' In everyday talk, people more often just say the problem was insidious, and stop there.
