Infallible describes someone or something that is never wrong - incapable of making a mistake or failing. You might describe a method, a very reliable memory, or (in a religious context) the Pope's authority on certain matters as infallible. In daily speech, people often use it a little loosely, or even jokingly, to mean 'almost never wrong' rather than literally impossible to fail.
