If you do something inexpensively, you do not spend much money — and the word is kind about that. This is the point: it shows approval. Cheaply can sound as if the thing is poor quality, or as if you are being mean with money. Inexpensively says the price was low, and that is fine, even wise. It is a little more formal than everyday talk. At the shop, people more often say “cheaply,” “for not much,” or “on a budget.” In careful English, inexpensively is the polite adverb for the same idea.
