To industrialize is to develop a lot of industry in a country or a place. The country can industrialize (the change happens there), or leaders can industrialize a region (they push the change). It is the verb that belongs with industrialization. Fairly formal. British spelling: industrialise. Though actually, in careful writing the subject matters: “the country industrialized” tells you about the place; “they industrialized the valley” tells you someone did it on purpose, and that can sound proud or it can sound like a warning, depending on the story.
(使)工業化
組成industrial + -ize (to make, or to become). From French industriel / English industrial + -ize; the industrial piece goes back through French to Latin industria.
