    Imminently is the adverb: happening in a very short time, usually of something serious or official. A volcano may imminently; a court may rule imminently; a company may collapse imminently. It is a heavy, formal way to say 'very soon'. In ordinary speech, 'any minute now' or 'very soon' sounds more natural, especially for small everyday things. Though actually, news writers like it because it keeps the overhanging feel of imminent: not just soon, but soon in a way that matters. You would sound odd saying you will 'arrive imminently' for a casual coffee.
