Immeasurable means you cannot measure it — not because you left your ruler at home, but because it is too big, too deep, or too extreme to put a number on. Writers reach for it when they want you to feel the size: immeasurable loss, immeasurable damage, immeasurable kindness. Strictly, a scientist would say almost everything can be measured if you try hard enough; the word is doing emotional work, not lab work. It is a strong, slightly formal emphasiser. In ordinary talk people more often say huge, endless, or 'you cannot measure it'. Do not hear it as 'we have not measured this yet'. The claim is 'it is beyond measuring'.
