ICT is a school subject in Britain. The letters stand for Information and Communication Technology. In that class, children learn how to use computers and other electronic equipment, and how to use the internet, software, and the ordinary tools of digital life. It is the British classroom name for what many other places simply call computing, IT, or computer class. Adults also use ICT for the whole computers-plus-communication field in offices and government, though IT is more common in everyday American English. Say the three letters: I-C-T.
