A hodge-podge is a lot of things mixed up together in no order — food, ideas, clothes, a plan. It started as a stew made from whatever was in the pot. You can also spell it hodgepodge, or, in British English, ; they all name the same mixed jumble. It is informal and a bit ; it does not praise the mix. If you want a kind word, you might say “a mix.”
大雜燴
