If someone is hench, they look strong, with big, clear muscles — the kind of body you get from a lot of gym work. It is young people’s slang, especially in Britain. American teenagers more often say jacked, swole, or buff for the same picture. You would not write hench in a school essay or a doctor’s note; it belongs in chat, in the gym, in joking compliments: He’s well hench. It is an adjective. Though actually, the word is not a short form of henchman, even though they look like family. This hench is a variant of haunch, the thick hip and upper leg, and the meaning moved from thick in the body to thick with muscle. Older people may not know it at all.
很壯、肌肉結實(英國年輕人用語;台灣年輕人較常說「很壯」「很猛」)
