- 1
A circle of light, often shown in paintings around the head of an angel or a holy person, to show that they are good or holy. People also use it for a natural ring of light around the sun or moon on a hazy night. And it's used figuratively for a person's shining, spotless reputation — if someone has a 'halo,' people think of them as almost perfect (sometimes said a little jokingly, as in 'don't act like you have a halo').
光環
組成This word probably comes from an old Greek word for a round disk or threshing floor.
