A growbag is a plastic bag already filled with soil. You cut holes in the top and grow plants in it — tomatoes are the classic — instead of digging a bed in the garden. It is a very British garden-shop word. In American English people more often write grow bag as two words, or just say planting bag. It is informal and practical, not a science word. You buy the bag, sit it on a balcony or a patio, and the bag itself is the pot. It is not a bag for shopping, and it is not a bag you keep vegetables in after you pick them.
