A good-natured person is kind in a natural, easy way. They help without making a fuss, they do not look for a fight, and they are not quickly made angry. Nature here is a person’s built-in character — not trees and rivers. The word is close to good-tempered and , but it leans toward kindness: you trust that this person means well. People also call a joke or an argument good-natured when nobody is really trying to hurt anyone; the teasing stays friendly.
