A glazier is a person whose job is to cut glass and fit it into window frames, doors, and sometimes shop fronts. If a window breaks, you call a glazier — the specialist, not a glassblower and not usually the person who makes drinking glasses. Though actually, a handyman may put in a simple , so the tidy job-title is tidier than real life. It is a trade word, still used on vans and in job ads; in ordinary chat people may just say “the window person.” You will hear it more in British English than in some other places. It is a count noun: a glazier, two glaziers.
