Glassware is things made of glass that you use, especially for drinking and eating: glasses, bowls, jugs, vases. Shops and wedding lists sell glassware as a group. A window is glass, but it is not glassware — glassware is the movable things you put on a table or a shelf. It is a slightly shop-like word; at home you just say “the glasses.” In a science room, glassware is the beakers and flasks. It is usually uncountable: some glassware, not a glassware. Though actually, people stretch it a little — a pretty vase in a cabinet still counts, even if nobody is eating from it.
