Glamorization is a noun: the act, or the result, of making something seem more attractive, exciting, or noble than it really is. Films, adverts, and some news stories do this — the glamorization of war, of gang life, of a dangerous job. The thing itself has not become beautiful; the telling has put a shiny coat on it. It is a formal, slightly critical word: you use it when you think the shine is misleading. American English writes glamorization; British English often writes glamorisation.
