You use galore when there is a lot of something — a lot, almost more than you need. Though actually, it does not sit where most describing words sit. You cannot say galore food, and you cannot say a galore of prizes. It comes after the thing: food galore, prizes galore, bargains galore. It feels playful, a little old, the kind of word you see on a poster or hear from someone happy about how much there is. It is not a cold counting word like many. It has a “look how much!” feeling. People do not use it in very serious writing, and you almost never put it in front of a noun.

組成English borrowed this from Irish go leor and Scottish Gaelic gu leòr, meaning something like “until there is enough” or “plenty”. Go / gu meant “to” or “until”, from an older word that also meant “with”. Leor meant “enough”.
