    Fluffy describes anything soft, light, and full of air, the way a cloud, a kitten's fur, or a fresh pillow feels. It's also used for food — fluffy or fluffy rice are light and airy rather than heavy or dense, which is usually a good thing. Used about ideas or arguments, though, 'fluffy' turns into a mild criticism: a fluffy argument sounds nice but has no real substance behind it, like it's all soft air and no solid content.
