A fishery is a place or business where people catch fish, or a place where fish are raised to be sold as food. It can mean one spot in the sea or a river where people go to fish, or it can mean the whole trade of catching and selling fish in a country or area. You will often see it as 'fisheries' when people talk about the whole industry.
