Fearlessness is the noun: the quality of not being afraid, or of acting that way. We talk about someone’s fearlessness, or the fearlessness of a plan. It is a little more formal than the adjective; in everyday talk people are more likely to say “she wasn’t scared” than “I admired her fearlessness.” Same honest as the rest of the family: we use it for courage that goes forward, not for a scientific “zero fear.” You can have fearlessness in a kind way (speaking up for a friend) or in a wild way (jumping without looking). It names the quality; it does not describe the person by itself.
無畏、無所畏懼(一種特質,不是形容詞)
組成fearless + -ness (turns the adjective into a noun naming the quality).
