The Everglades is one huge stretch of low, wet, warm land in the US state of Florida, about 5,000 square miles. It is not a deep lake and not quite an ordinary swamp: the water is often shallow, it moves slowly, and it is full of grass, sawgrass, , and little tree islands. A large part is protected as Everglades National Park. People know it for plants and animals you will not meet in most other American parks, especially alligators, and also birds, snakes, and the rare Florida panther. English treats it as a place name, so it takes a capital E and usually the: you say the Everglades the way you say the Alps. When someone uses the word, they mean this one famous , not any wet land in general.
組成A place name, not a regular classroom compound. You can hear glade, an older English word for an open grassy space, but how the whole name was first given is not a story to treat as settled.
