First they do : a quiet, careful dance in an arena, to show that the horse will listen. Then they do cross-country: a long, wild ride over jumps, water, and hills, which is the dangerous, heart of it. Then they do showjumping: coloured fences in an arena, against the clock. The same pair must be good at all three, not just one.
First they do dressage首先他們比dressage(盛裝舞步):a quiet, careful dance in an arena在場地裡跳一段安靜、細膩的舞,to show that the horse will listen用來證明馬會聽話。Then they do cross-country接著比cross-country(越野賽):a long, wild ride over jumps, water, and hills一段長且狂野的路程,要跨越障礙、水域和山丘,which is the dangerous, exciting heart of it這是整個項目裡最危險、最刺激的核心。Then they do showjumping最後比showjumping(障礙超越):coloured fences in an arena在場地裡跳一道道彩色的欄杆,against the clock跟時間賽跑。The same pair must be good at all three同一組人馬必須三項都擅長,not just one不能只擅長一項。
People also call it a three-day event. It is an Olympic sport.

- The concept behind eventing is fairly simple. With eventing, you have two pieces of code. For example, you might have a script that is running based on a scheduled task. That script might encounter some condition and can raise (or signal) an event, perhaps that it has completed its work. A second bit of code, perhaps a second script running on that same system, can register for events.
- 3
rarehuman-sciencessciencessocial-scienceThe occurrence of an event.
- The corollary of this, as Whorf points out, is that thinkings and feelings to do with 'eventings' in the world are located there, out in the world in which the eventing takes place - as a natural part of the whole into which they are interwoven.
