Eusébio (full name Eusébio da Silva Ferreira) was one of the greatest football players the world has seen. He was born in 1942 in Mozambique, which was then a land ruled by Portugal, and he played as a striker — the person who scores — for Benfica in Lisbon and for Portugal in the 1960s and 1970s.
