Entrepreneurship is the activity of starting and running your own business, especially when it involves taking a risk to try a new idea, in the hope of making it succeed. It's the quality or skill, not just the act — schools that teach "entrepreneurship" are teaching students how to think of a business idea, plan it, and actually start it, even though it might fail.
