This is the adjective for the kind of person who starts a new business, or who puts deals together in order to make money, often by taking a money risk. An entrepreneurial student tries a small shop; an entrepreneurial culture rewards people who start things. The person is an entrepreneur; entrepreneurial is the flavour of their work and their way of thinking — willing to begin a venture, risk money, and try to make a profit from a new plan. It is business English, a long word you will meet in news, job ads, and school talks about “starting your own company.” It does not name the person. It describes the style.
