Enticement is the pulling itself, or the thing held out to pull you — the offer, the prize, the sweet extra. It can name the act (the enticement of workers with extra pay) or the bait (money was the enticement). You meet it in news, law, and slightly formal talk. Lawyers use it when someone is drawn into a crime or a deal. Though actually, everyday English often just says “the offer” or “the temptation”; “enticement” sounds a bit like a newspaper or a courtroom.
