Enthronement is the ceremony itself — the day, the sitting, the words, the showing that a king or queen is starting to rule. It names the event, not the person. You meet it in news, history, and church writing, not in everyday talk. Though actually, churches use it for a church leader too: the sitting in the special chair that shows the new job has begun. Newspapers sometimes stretch it for any very grand “first day in the chair,” even when there is no real throne.

登基典禮、即位典禮。教會為新主教舉行的就任，英文也用這個字，中文較常說「就任典禮」。
