If you are enraptured, you are enjoying something so fully that the rest of the world falls away for a while — a song, a view, a play, sometimes a person. You can think of little else; the pleasure has taken the whole of your attention. It is a warm, slightly old-fashioned or literary word. Everyday English is more likely to say captivated, delighted, or just lost in it. You will mostly meet it as an adjective (enraptured by the singing, an enraptured audience) rather than as a verb people use in the shop. It is stronger and more 'swept away' than simply pleased. Though actually, in real talk it can sound a little theatrical, so writers reach for it when they want you to feel the spell, not when someone merely liked their lunch.
