An e-zine is a magazine that lives on the internet — a website, or a file sent by email, that comes out in issues like a paper magazine. The older word zine (cut down from magazine) was often a small, homemade magazine; an e-zine put that idea online. Though actually, the word feels a bit old now. Many people say online magazine, newsletter, or blog for the same kind of thing. You still meet e-zine in older internet writing, fan pages, and some hobby sites. Say it EE-zeen, not “easy.”
