Divisional describes something that belongs to one slice of a big organisation — one department, one region, one product line, one army group — not to the whole. A divisional manager looks after that slice. A company may have a divisional structure: each part is almost its own little company. In sport you may hear a divisional title, meaning the championship of one league slice. It is a dry, official, workplace word. It does not mean “causing a fight”; that is a different word, divisive.
