To deplane is to get off an airplane after it has landed. Cabin crew say it: you may deplane now. Passengers are deplaning at gate 12. It is American airport English. In British English people more often say get off the plane, or disembark. You do not deplane from a bus or a train. Though actually, the word is almost only for that one moment — leaving the aircraft — not for leaving the airport, and not for taking a plane to pieces. The everyday opposite is to get on, or to board.
