Delinquency is behaviour that breaks the law or is treated as seriously wrong, and the word is used especially about young people. Juvenile delinquency is the school-and-news phrase for crime or persistent trouble-making by children and teenagers. Officials, social workers, and newspapers use it; it sounds institutional, not like a parent . A milder everyday way is getting into trouble or breaking the law. There is another common use in money and banking: if you miss payments, a loan is in delinquency — you are behind. Same spelling, different world. The sense you are after here is the behaviour, especially of the young.
組成Borrowed from Late Latin dēlinquentia, from Latin dēlinquēns, present participle of dēlinquō (“to transgress, err”). By the shape of the English word: delinquent + -cy.
