When you do something delightedly, the pleasure is showing in the doing — in your face, your voice, a clap, a grin. It is a word for a pleased person, not for a nice thing. A child may laugh delightedly; a fan may cheer delightedly when the team scores. It is a little more story-like than everyday chat. In quick talk people often just say she was so happy or he looked delighted. Use it when you want the reader to see the joy happening in the moment.
