In fast, informal English, do can shrink to d' before the next word, most often you. So d'you know? is do you know? You will see this in comics, song words, and writing that tries to catch the sound of speech. You will not see it in a school essay or a formal letter. Though actually, the same little d' is easy to mix up with French d' (a short de, as in some names), which only looks the same. The English d' here is just a weak, do.
在快速、口語的英文裡，do 會弱化、縮短成 d'，最常接在 you 前面。例句 「d'you know?」 就是 do you know? 的意思。這種寫法常見於漫畫、歌詞，或是想寫出說話聲音的文字裡。
正式作文或正式書信不會這樣寫。法文裡也有 d'，但那是 de 的縮寫，跟這裡只是長得一樣。這裡的 d' 只是一個輕快、弱化的 do。
