Coors is an American beer, made by a company that started in Colorado. You will see Coors and Coors Light on bottles and in pubs in the US, and also in the UK and other places. People say the name to rhyme with “cores.” It is a brand, so you keep the capital C and you do not turn it into a normal English verb or a type-word the way you might with “coffee.” Talk about it as you would any beer brand: a Coors, Coors Light. The family name behind it was German Kohrs, later spelled Coors in English.
