"Complicity" means being involved in, or helping with, something wrong or illegal that someone else did - even if you didn't do the main bad act yourself. If you knew a friend was cheating on a test and helped them hide it, you would share complicity in the cheating. It's a serious word, often used in news reports about crimes, scandals, or corruption, when talking about people who helped, allowed, or stayed silent about something wrong.
