Your clavicle is the long, thin bone that runs from the top of your out to the top of your shoulder. Most people call it the — you can feel it under the skin. You have two, one on each side. They hold the shoulders out and help the arms move. Doctors, nurses, and biology teachers say clavicle; everyday English says . A broken clavicle is a common sports injury, especially from a fall onto the shoulder. The word sounds medical, but the bone is one you already know by another name.
