Citroën is a French company that makes cars, and people also say a Citroën for a car from that company, the way they say a Toyota. It is a brand name, written with the two dots over the e (Citroën), which in French tells you to say that e as its own sound, not to swallow it into the o. In English, many people still say something like “Sit-ro-en.” You see the name on the car and on the badge; the badge is famous for its two V-shaped marks, one above the other.
