    A cigar is something people smoke, but it is not a cigarette. It is thicker, usually longer, and made of whole tobacco leaves rolled into a tube — often with a leaf wrapped on the outside too. There is typically no filter. People light one end; the smoke is strong and the smell stays in a room. Cigars feel slower, richer, and more than a quick cigarette: celebrations, old films, someone who wants to look important. They also cost more. In Taiwan you buy them in special shops, not in every corner store. Some people only smoke part of one and save the rest.
