  1. 1（口語）食物；chow down 大快朵頤；也是鬆獅犬（Chow Chow）的名稱。

    An informal, casual word for food - people say "chow" the way they'd say "grub" or "eats." "Chow down" means to eat, especially eating a lot with enthusiasm. Chow is also the name of a dog breed, the Chow Chow, known for its thick fur and blue-black tongue.
