1. 1

A choc-ice is a small block of ice cream with a thin coat of chocolate on the outside. It is a British shop-freezer word. The cheap kind is often a little you hold in a paper wrapper; others sit on a stick. You eat it before it melts. It is not a chocolate with ice in it, and it is not a drink. In American English people are more likely to say ice cream bar. In Taiwan you already know the thing: the chocolate-coated ice cream from the shop freezer, just under a British name.
