1. 1

A carryall is a big, soft bag with handles, large enough for clothes, towels, or a jumble of things you do not want in a stiff suitcase. This is mainly an American word; British English more often says holdall. It is not a backpack (no straps over your shoulders) and not a tiny . Though actually, the name sounds like carry all, and that is how English speakers hear it — but the older link is to a French word for a light horse carriage, carriole, which English then reshaped to sound like "carry all."

    大型軟式旅行袋、萬用手提袋。美式說法;英式較常說 holdall。接近店裡的大旅行袋,不是後背包。
