Caracas is the capital city of Venezuela, a country on the north coast of South America. It sits in a valley near the Caribbean, with hills around it, and it is the main city for government, business, and culture in that country. People say ka-RA-kas. You use it like other city names: in Caracas, from Caracas. It is not a region and not the whole country — Venezuela is the country; Caracas is the city at the centre of it.
卡拉卡斯(委內瑞拉首都;中國大陸常寫加拉加斯)
組成From Spanish Caracas, named after the Caraca people who lived in that area.
