Capaciousness is the noun for that “lots of room inside” feeling. The capaciousness of a suitcase is how much it can take; the capaciousness of a hall is how many people can sit there without feeling . It is a rare, rather stiff word. People almost always reach for simpler ones: space, room, how it is. You may see it in formal writing, or when someone is describing a building or a bag in a careful, slightly old-fashioned way. It does not mean ability or talent, even though it sits next to capable in the wider family. It stays with holding and space. If a review praises the capaciousness of a kitchen, they mean the room itself is generous, not that the cook is gifted. Though actually, you can live a whole life of English and never need to say this noun out loud. Saying the bag is , or has a lot of space, is what people actually say.
