Canberra is the capital city of Australia. It is not Sydney and it is not Melbourne. Those two are bigger and more famous, so often guess one of them by mistake. Australia’s government sits in Canberra on purpose: the city was planned and built inland, between Sydney and Melbourne, so that neither of those two could be the capital. It is a place name. In English we say “in Canberra”, not “in the Canberra”.
組成Uncertain. Most commonly said to be from Ngunawal kamberra, “meeting place”. Other stories exist; nobody is fully sure.
