The Camargue is a wide, flat land in the south of France, where the River Rhône spreads into the sea. It is kept as a nature park, known for white horses that live half-wild, for bulls, and for many wild birds, especially flamingos. English just uses the French place-name. You will see it in travel writing and wildlife films, not in everyday talk unless someone has been there. It is a proper name, so it takes a capital C.
