In American , a bundler is someone who collects money from many different people and then gives that whole pile to a candidate or a party to help with an election. Each person may only be allowed to give a limited amount, so a bundler with rich friends becomes useful: they host dinners, they gather the , they hand over a large total. You will meet this meaning in news about US campaigns, not in everyday classroom English. It is not simply “a person who ties things in a bundle,” though that is how the word is built. The work can be legal; people still argue about whether it lets a few well-connected hosts buy too much influence.
