Bridezilla is a joke-name for a woman who wants every little bit of her wedding to be exactly right, and who becomes harsh, angry, or controlling about it. People say it to complain or to tease, not to praise. It is informal — TV, magazines, friends talking — not a word for an invitation. You should not call someone this to her face; it is . The joke is that she is as fierce as a film monster. Though actually, plenty of wedding stress is real, and the word can be used more loosely than fairly, just to laugh at a woman who cares a lot.
新娘哥吉拉(不讚美的說法;台灣也直接講 Bridezilla。哥吉拉是台灣對 Godzilla 的譯名,中國大陸較常用「哥斯拉」)
