    BOGOF is a shop offer: buy one, get one free. You pay for one thing and they give you a second of the same kind without extra pay. That is two for the price of one. Though actually, a careful still checks the ticket: sometimes the “free” one is the smaller or cheaper item, and you may not save more than on a simple sale. The word is British shop language. People say it as one word, BOH-goff, not as five letters. You see it on supermarket stickers. Americans more often say BOGO, and they may or may not mean the second is free. In Taiwan the everyday phrase is 買一送一, which is this same offer.
